Another western investor was disappointed in the Ukrainian market of the real estate. The biggest European developer and operator of shopping centers - German ECE Projektmanagement postponed plans in relation to development of projects in Ukraine and practically all personnel of "ECE-Ukraine" is left without a job.
A company which promised to invest about 300-400 million Euro to Ukraine explains that it fears to inlay facilities in the country with an unfavorable investment climate. A company entered the Ukrainian market at the end of 2006. It was planned that in the nearest five years therer will be built about five shopping centers with format of «shopping mall» and the area of 50-80 thousand sq.m in large cities of Ukraine.
Before this for the same reason projects were frozen by austrian Sparkassen Immobilien, that belongs to Erste Group.
Building enterprises of Lviv region for 10 months of 2008 executed their works for the total summ of 3 039,5 million UAN, that is for 12,2% less than in the proper period of the previous year (while for eight months of 2007 an increase was 22,1%). The volumes of the executed building projects were decreased by the enterprises of 13 districts out of 20 and by the enterprises of 6 towns of the region out of 9, - reported the Main administration of statistics in Lviv region.
Reduction of volumes of the executed building projects is explained by diminishing of volumes of roads' construction, pipelines, connection and energy supply lines. Besides the volumes of building completion works were substantially shorted.
NSDC charged the Cabinet to prepare 15 laws during a year, which will touch the land market, land cadastre, land services, changes in the Land code.
NSDC charged General Prosecutor's office to provide the observance of legislation in the field of the land adjusting and monthly inform about the implementations. In addition, NSDC charged the government and local administrations to analyse the practice of land gaining and expose violations during these procedures.
For implementation of NSDC decision the Cabinet must provide reorganization of the State agency of the land resources to the Statutory broker of the land resources.
The head of Lviv regional state administration Mykola Kmit' informed the press about the program of renewing the forest planting. The program of area development is to be realized in five years. A program costs nearly 30-40 million UAN in a year.
According to this fact there is a clear plan towards the forest's planting.
In addition, Mykola Kmit' considers that introduction of practice of the private forests can partly solve a problem with them. Presently it sounds sacrilege to many people, but he considers that such approach is effective.
He added also, that in Lviv region such examples already exist.
Kmit' explained that there is an idea to select the forests parts for certain deputies for they could plant forest there and to look after them. Such approach must serve an example for other citizens of the region. Answering the question whether he is involved in such project, Kmit' said: “For the moment I do not own any forest at the moment, but I surely will”.

During the meeting of Sergiy Kiralj, the chief of the external economic relations and investments department a with the representatives of ECE Projectmenegement company (Germany) the possibility of new trade centre construction was examined in Lviv, as press-service of the Lviv city council reported.
The minimal volume of investments to realization the project makes at least 100 million EUR. During the meeting the ECE representatives presented a few conceptions concerning the building process in land sites within the city.
