In place of objects of out-of-date city dwelling fund of Lviv, including dwelling-houses of the first mass buildings, they plan to build modern habitation with a social-cultural infrastructure.
As press-service of Lviv municipality reports, with the purpose of preparation of suggestions concerning the complex reconstruction of city dwellings microregions a working group is created headed by the first deputy of cuty chairman Oleg Sinyutka. The directors of departments, chiefs of management departments, deputies of city council, projectcreators entered in the complement of the group.
From the data of city town-planning department, a working group will develop legal and organizational measures on the reconstruction of out-of-date dwelling fund, and also building possibility on the free territories.

The territory of Lviv can be multiplied in two times to 2025 year. Ithis is forseen by a new plan of city which is now developed by the institute «Mistoproekt». According toVitaliy Dubina, the chief of an architecturally-plan workshop ¹ 2 of «Mistoproekt», development of city plan is planned to be completed to September. “Then the process of discussion and examination will begin. If they will not delay, genplan will be ready to the spring of 2009. 1 million Uan is selected to fullfill this task”, — Dubina tells.
Now territory of Lviv makes 15 thousand hectares. According to Peter Krupa, the architect of the institute, in obedience to the town-planning system «Great Lviv-2025», the territory of the city is planned to be extanded to 28 thousand hectares due to 14 nearby settlements. Sokil'niki, Bryukhovichi, Rudno, Pasiki Zubrytski, Lysynychi, Pidryasne, Ryasna-Rusjka, Lysynychi, Podbirtsi, Zymna Voda, Sknyliv, Malakhiv and Soroki-Lvivski are planned to be joined with Lviv. For this the consent of Supreme Soviet is needed, in addition, a local referendum must be organized. According to Dybina, the developers of city plan also work on the plans of these settlements. «This is the development of a transport infrastructure, networks, building of apppartments, development of social objects. We plan to create the association of local councils of these settlements and Lviv», — Vitaly Dubina asserts. The plans of six settlements are alredy developed, another three are in a process.
According with the prognoses of Peter Krupa, Lviv can be multiplied to 34-35 thousand hectares to 2025. «We develop the plan of extantion of Lviv to the merge of future autobahn of Krakovets-Lviv in north part of city», — he explains.
The previous general layout of Lviv was ratified in 1993, but in 2000 local authorities ordered the institute of «Mistoproekt» the development of a new document.

"Building of the stadium in Lviv this year will be financed hundred-per-cent from budgetary facilities. A financial market is overheated enough today, and interest rates on credit-sides are high, that is why for a city there is no sense to enter the market of borrowings. Last year it was far more effective to attract such resources, we attracted them under 11%. Today interest rates are over 20%, that is why it would be not correct to take a credit for a city." , - commented first deputy of city chairman of Lviv Oleg Sinyutka.
Besides, Oleg Sinyutka declared: "Today a way-out is earth and real estate. That is why for us it is better to sell them on the peak of price, than to take a credit". He added: "There was a conference with the chief of community property department. Decisions are made towards communal property alienation at the summ about 104 mln Uan, when the planned task is 88 million Uan."
Meantime, informing about implementation of city budget for the first half of the current year, Ishchuk O., the chief of financial policy department of Lviv city council, reported that to the budget of development 11,5 million from communal fraudulent alienation did not enter, as 31,7 million Uan - from the sale of communal earth. "This question is strategic. Property and earth will rise in price in a few months in connection with preparation to Euro-2012, and then they can be sold considerably more advantageous", - he commented .

German institutions will help in alteration of Lviv transport infrastructure. For the money of KFW (credit establishment for renewal) a west-ukrainian city plans to modernize public elektrotransport, the «German wave» writes.
Transport infrastructure is one of the city prior problems within the framework for preparation to football championship «Euro-2012». City officials will decide this problem jointly with the German partners. Agreements are already made with the bureau of technical help (GTZ) in Leipzig in relation to introduction of pilot project concerning the improvement of functioning of elektrotransport in the town, Sergiy Kiral', the leader of city external relations department reported.
A bureau will develop a project, replace a technical equipment for motion control, organize teaching and training of personnels.
Yesterday, August, 5, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko during the meeting of Lviv regional staff concerning liquidation of flood consequences on July, 23-27 charged the law enforcement authorities and the public prosecutor's office for three nearest months to make up a complete inventory of private ownership rights for houses in an area, beginning with taking inventory of permissions for building to the already built houses.
"60% of ruined buildings, which are to be compensated by the state are not registered in the Technical inventotry office. So that we conduct payment for houses which do not have state registration", - he marked.
Except for it, he appealed to local power with a request to open out mass figuring-out work about advantages of insurance, in fact only 2% of homes suffered were insured.
